We made Business Week top 30 Design School List!

Yes, it’s true. Business Week recently released their list of top 30 D-List and our master’s programme, Business & Design, grabbed the spotlight after only one year of existence. Eva Engstrand, University College Director at HDK (School of Design and Crafts) commented on this saying:

- Of course we are very proud that the programme has been so highly ranked.

In the company of schools like Stanford, Royal College of Art and School of Visual Art, getting on the list is no small feat. Therefore we mention this fact and feel very proud that our work is being globally recognized as worth spreading.

Curious about shoes….why should you be?

Maybe you love shoes, the looks, and the silhouette they give you. The nice feeling you get when you treat yourself to a little gift after a long day at work.

We love shoes too, but we are curious about the whole concept – “Shoes”.

How are they made?  Where are they made? What design considerations were made in the process? Are they good for us? Could they be done in another way?

With this blog we want to show you our findings in areas concerning fashion, design, new business models, sustainability, value creation and transparency. We also want to share our ideas. What we think could be done if design and creativity are applied to business, transport, sales and to you as a consumer and lover of shoes.

We are a small strategic design studio called keen who became interested in the many facets of shoes that impact business and culture.

We hope that you enjoy our blog!
