Open Innovation.
Innovation starts with dreams and visions, but during the last century innovation in corporations been claimed by the R & D departments, all that is rapidly changing. You might call it open innovation, co –creation, crowd sourcing or transparency but the core idea is that a group is smarter, more agile and has more expertise that can be involved in the work than in a closed process hidden away in some hollowed out volcano.
Or like Bill Joy, co founder of sun Microsystems said.
- “No matter who you are most of the smartest people are working for someone else”
